Adult Enrichment
Where our faith is built

The AEO (Adult Enrichment Opportunities) program includes opportunities to deepen understanding of our Faith, engagement with ethical and moral questions, and spiritual experiences which inspire, transform, and sustain. We look to be introduced to new ideas and experiences.

Unitarian Universalism connects you with real people: people who will be real with you. Learning and laughing across generations and cultures, we build relationships of care and support. Every group learning experience has its own special way of connecting and caring. Whatever your age and stage, you can meet people, engage in groups and programs, and volunteer in ways that build community and nurture others.

Adult Enrichment Opportunity programs are offered throughout the winter from October to May On Wednesday afternoons and evenings.

Small Group Ministry
For Human Interaction

Our congregation has a Small Group Ministry which includes the Covenant Group program, and Affinity groups with information about it here. What are the groups? What kinds of topics do they explore? How does someone get involved?

Affinity Groups
Caring for Everyone

Groups like the Knitting Group, Crafts Group, Music Group, a Parents Group, an LGBTQ Group, and perhaps our Grief Group fall under the umbrella “Affinity Groups.” These are groups that gather within the congregation based on affinities of identity or interest. As you engage with UUUC descriptions and contact information for the various groups as they occur will be accessible.

Lending Library

Lending Library As Unitarian Universalists, we are charged with providing children through adults the opportunity to explore, reflect and learn in a nurturing spiritual community. In addition to religious education programs offered all ages, at UUUC we have a community lending Library that includes a wide selection of books and materials from Christian thought to Eastern religions to Western scientific humanism. UU’s identify with and draw inspiration from Atheism and agnosticism, Buddhism, Christianity, Humanism, Judaism, Earth-Centered Traditions, Hinduism, Islam, and more. Our Congregants donate the books they are reading so that others might share in some of the most current of spiritual thinking and new thought. Come browse. You are certain to find something of interest.
